Bookbinding Workshop

The Non Adhesive Long Stitch Paper Binding is the perfect introduction to hand bookbinding with no specialist tools or equipment required. During the workshop the participants will learn the fundamentals of how to fold sections, cut, measure and hand sew an elegant book. Once the fundamentals have been mastered the participants will be able to produce books on their own exploring different sewing patterns, binding materials and designs. Participants will have a choice of paper colours and linen threads along enough materials to make two books. Completed book size 150mm x110mm x 12mm The kits will comprise of papers and threads for 2 books along with a small cutting mat, a craft knife, needle, metal ruler, an awl and bone folder. This will enable the participants to continue making books after the workshop.
